The advent of information technology in the late 1990s completely revolutionised music production in the studio and live. Today, undertaking training in this field means learning about computer-based workflows, while being aware that information technology itself is not always the best solution to problems related to audio production. It is important to know that there is a huge theoretical and practical background; a qualified sound engineer knows FIRST about sound (in all its forms, from the principles of acoustics to transducers) and THEN about information technology. These are the foundations of our training courses.
The studio was designed with generous spaces to allow artists and technicians to work in comfort, far from the chaos of the city. All rooms have natural lighting and air conditioning. The Dante®Audinate audio interconnection system we chose for this facility allows us to connect all rooms (including the Control Room) flexibly via Ethernet cable.
